stockholm is much like vancouver.
can we go there?
boulevard.
July 13, 2009at boulevard. having a ham and cheese croissant for lunch.
hoping to spit out more words.
starting to write a review.
working on it.
working on it.
working on it.
let’s divide the tasks.
Today, I’m going to write down which sections I need.
michael jackson and dad.
July 10, 2009michael jackson and dad died on the same day.
dad died before MJ did. 1h and 30 minutes before.
they were both buried at forest lawn cemetery.
of course, not the same forest lawn.
Mariah Carey sang I’ll be there for MJ.
Ron and Clam played The Lucikest for dad.
the luckiest is actually a love song, which talks about a man who believes himself to be the luckiest because he has met the one. a little inappropriate as a tribute, as it says:
Next door there’s an old man who lived to his nineties
And one day passed away in his sleep
And his wife; she stayed for a couple of days
And passed away
of course we were not saying that mom will pass away soon because she loved dad too much…..
i think the reason for choosing the song would be these few phrases:
That I know
That I am
I am
I am
The luckiestI love you more than I have ever found a way to say to you
that’s probably what we mean.
I love you more than I have ever found a way to say to you.
well. that’s what I’d wanted to say.
that dad was a lucky man.
in a way.
luckier than MJ.
in a way.
that he had choices.
and made his own choices.
(?)
sympathies.
July 10, 2009I sincerely thank all of your sympathies.
Thank you for the pat in the back.
Thank you for the hugs.
But I’m not quite ready to talk about it.
For example, please do not start a conversation with:
Regina, I heard your father died, I’m terribly sorry.
Well that’s life, I know how it is and that’s tough eh.
I sympathize with you, now you’ve got to be strong,
If you need anything, just let me know.
blah blah blah blah blah.
Thank you, but that’s going to make me cry, which is not very nice..
Just be nice. or normal?
